YEREVAN. – After Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia, reporters asked Deputy Chief of Police Ara Fidanyan what steps the police were taking in connection with the “reports” that Azerbaijanis were being issued Armenian passports.

"The [Armenian] police are definitely conducting a study. We had even asked the people who had made such statements on various social media sites, and asked [them] to provide at least one example—which did not happen, so that a clearer study or investigation could be carried out," Fidanyan said in response.
