Former deputy of the Georgian Dream Party of the Parliament of Georgia Henzel Mkoyan’s sister-in-law committed suicide today, jnews.ge reported.

Mkoyan believes the people who are constantly repressing the Mkoyans are guilty of the suicide that his sister-in-law committed by jumping off a bridge. According to him, several incidents that had taken place before this led to the sister-in-law’s suicide.

“In 2019, Petrosyan’s son hit my brother Martuni, my sister-in-law’s husband, who received a concussion, and then on March 26, 2020, after a shooting, the son was imprisoned. She wasn’t allowed to talk to her son and would cry every day. Later, there was an assassination attempt against my brother when his car was bombed. Companies are being inspected, and the hydroelectric power plant was closed. They want to destroy our family,” Henzel Mkoyan said.

According to the former deputy of the Georgian parliament, all this had an impact on his sister-in-law, and the closure of the hydroelectric power plant caused stress.

“Of course, it wasn’t stressful for her. My brother recently said we should sell everything and leave Georgia. She really took the assassination attempt against her husband really hard,” Mkoyan said.

On the morning of January 27 at around 10 a.m. Henzel Mkoyan’s 50-year-old sister-in-law jumped off a bridge linking the city of Akhalkalak to the former first military settlement.

On March 26 at 3:30 p.m. Petrosyan and Henzel Mkoyan’s relatives clashed in front of Gold Café. The clash was brief and ended quickly. When it seemed that everyone had calmed down, shooting took place between former deputy of the Georgian Dream Party Henzel Mkoyan and former deputy of the National Movement Party Samvel Petrosyan, as a result of which Samvel Petrosyan and already former deputy Henzel Mkoyan’s nephew were detained. Petrosyan and Henzel Mkoyan’s nephew, who were charged with hooliganism with the use of firearm, were released on bail for 20,000 Lari each, but the trial isn’t over yet, and the decision hasn’t been announced.
