Moscow’s Simonov Court has annulled the conditional punishment of Alexei Navalny under the Yves Rocher case and replaced it with real custody in a reformatory for three-and-a-half years, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, Navalny had succeeded in dodging replacement of the conditional punishment with the real punishment three times. The decisions on rejection were rendered by the Lublin Court in Moscow in 2015 and 2016, and in 2017, the Simonov Court of Moscow only extended the probation period, without raising the issue of sending Navalny to a reformatory.

The decision on change of punishment hasn’t entered into force yet, and the sides have ten days to appeal it.
