YEREVAN. – The Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia on Saturday recorded a magnitude-2.3 earthquake in the country, at 11:49am local time, 4 km northeast of Shorzha village in Gegharkunik Province, and 10 km beneath the surface, the MES informed.
It measured magnitude 2 to 3 at the epicenter.
The seismic activity was also felt in Shoghakat village of Gegharkunik Provinces—and with magnitude 2 to 3.
