An incident occurred between Russian peacekeepers and Azerbaijanis on the Kapan-Chakaten road section as the Azerbaijanis tried to advance their positions, head of the enlarged Kapan community Gevorg Parsyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am.

The mayor of Kapan said that today Russian peacekeepers blocked the road with armored vehicles, to prevent the advance of Azerbaijanis.

The defense ministry has issued a statement on the situation at the border, and noted that no incidents occurred at the border.
