Today the municipality of the Armenian city of Ararat posted on its Facebook page an unusual announcement inviting citizens to the city of Nizhny Novgorod of the Russian Federation to work at a construction site and telling them to contact someone by the name of Arman on the first floor of the municipality.

The announcement remained posted on the Facebook page was deleted a little while ago after being posted for more than ten hours.

MP Sofia Hovsepyan, who has left the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, touched upon this announcement and posted the following on her Facebook page:

“What is the mayor of Ararat thinking by posting this announcement? I would like to inform that there are very large-scale construction jobs in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and those people can go and work in Artsakh. If anyone is interested, I can provide contacts.

People have completely lost their sense of security.”
