The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Emergency Situations of (RA MES) has issued a statement dismissing the rumors on a risk of strong earthquake in the country.

"Dear citizens, rumors are circulating on the internet that as if a strong earthquake is expected in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, particularly in [the capital] Yerevan. The RA MES Territorial Seismic Protection Service officially dismisses this information, and urges to follow only the MES official messages," the ministry noted in its statement.
