The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia has addressed citizens with the following announcement:

“Dear citizens, the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations refutes the disinformation being spread on the Internet according to which a strong earthquake is expected in the territory of Armenia, particularly Yerevan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges citizens to not help spread fake news and panic and only follow the official press releases of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The Ministry of Emergency Situations states that, at this moment, the tension in the hotbed of the earthquake continues to subside.”
