Armenia’s Deputy Police Chief, Police Colonel Ara Fidanyan yesterday received the delegation led by International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Program Director at the US Embassy in Armenia Michael Schulman.

Greeting the guests, Fidanyan highly appreciated the efforts that his US counterparts have made to assist in the ongoing reforms in the Police of Armenia so far and expressed willingness for closer cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for the cordial reception, Schulman emphasized that the US is ready to continue the cooperation and assistance aimed at modernizing the Police of Armenia and improving the quality of services.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the actions envisaged in 2021 as part of the US Embassy’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Program, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
