Tax revenues from imports of Turkish goods in 2020 amounted to AMD 25 billion (over $ 50 million), said Mnatsakan Sharafyan, head of the department of customs statistics and revenue.

According to him, it is too early to say that a ban on the import of goods from Turkey will lead to a reduction in tax revenues, since importers are also targeting other markets, including China.

He added that Turkish goods imported at the end of 2019 can go through customs within 4 months.
