Apple is developing a wireless magnetic battery for charging the latest generation smartphones, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

According to sources, Apple experts have been working on this new product for a year and planned to present it to the general public a few months after the presentation of the iPhone 12 line of smartphones, which took place in October last year.

The wireless battery will be MagSafe compatible, designed to instantly magnetize and charge faster. The battery case will most likely be made of white rubberized material. The future development, Bloomberg explains, is different from Apple's Smart Battery Cases. They are designed to increase battery life and protect, for example, the iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphone.
