Today President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan and his family attended the Holy Mass served by Primate of the Artsakh Diocese, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan at Amaras Monastery, as reported the Staff of the President of Artsakh.

The head of state underscored the pivotal role that the Armenian Apostolic Church plays in people’s lives and assured that the government, in partnership with the Artsakh Diocese, will allocate funds to ensure transportation from the capital city to the churches in the regions of the Republic of Artsakh every Sunday.

Among other attendees were Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan, head of the administration of Martuni region Edik Avanesyan, servicemen of the Defense Army and pilgrims.
