There is a clear discrepancy in press releases following phone talks between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, posted on the websites of the leaders.

The PM's statement noted that “President Putin expressed support for the legitimate authorities of Armenia and expressed hope for the soonest normalization of the situation,” which is not indicated in the statement circulated by the Russian side.

Thus, it can be assumed that the President of Russia did not express such a thought, and this is another advertising step on the part of the Armenian authorities.
