The UN is concerned about the events in Armenia, and calls on the parties to restraint and resolve political contradictions through dialogue, the organization's secretary general's official representative Stephane Dujarric said at a briefing.

According to him, it is very important that all parties remain calm. 

The EU calls for restraint and for inclusive dialogue to de-escalate tensions and resolve political differences.

This should be done with full respect for the constitution and the democratic process, he added.
