The Iraqi government rejects all unilateral operations carried out in Iraqi territory, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Sahaf said commenting on Turkey's military actions in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Sahaf said Turkey should act in cooperation with the Iraqi government for the sake of common interests, Rudaw reported.

Turkey continues to conduct cross-border military operations, justifying them by fighting against the Kurdish Workers' Party.

According to Sahaf, many operations in Kurdistan have killed civilians and damaged infrastructure.

As part of the diplomatic efforts of the Iraqi side, Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu is expected to visit Baghdad soon, he said.
