YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan came to the National Assembly (NA) accompanied with dozens of security officers and cars.

The Homeland Salvation Movement—which demands Pashinyan’s resignation—has convened a rally on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue—outside the parliament, and the question and answer session with the government is in progress in the NA Sessions’ Hall.

The police have been specially prepared. Snipers are stationed inside the NA building, policemen—armed with machine guns—are patrolling in the parliament yard; there are also special measures there.

As reported earlier, police—armed with shields and helmets—have set up a barricade on the street at the side entrance to the legislature building.
