Iran has no direct or indirect contact with the United States over the Iranian nuclear deal (JCPOA) or any other issue, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh noted.

Commenting on some rumors about Iran's positive signals to the West about the talks, he said that what is happening in this area in connection with the JCPOA is very delicate, Mehr reported.

Iran has not received a step-by-step JCPOA plan and is not considering such a plan in line with its policy, Khatibzadeh said.

Asked to comment on the statements by the US Secretary of State that Iran is working to make its nuclear program more dangerous, Khatibzadeh noted that after the US left the JCPOA, Europe assumed 11 certain obligations to Iran, none of which were performed.

He also noted that Iran supports diplomacy and diplomatic solutions.
