Greece plans to lift restrictions imposed by COVID-19 on the retail sector and reopen schools by the end of March, as well as begin reopening the tourism sector in May ahead of the vital summer season. The decision depends on the epidemiological data. This was stated to the journalist by the representative of the government Aristotle Peloni, Reuters reported.

Greece was recently forced to extend isolation in the wider region of Athens until March 16 due to renewed infections, but Peloni said there are signs of hope.
