YEREVAN. – The opposition Homeland Salvation Movement on Wednesday kicked off another rally on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, across the National Assembly (NA) building.

During Tuesday’s rally—and at the call of ex-PM Vazgen Manukyan, the aforesaid movement’s candidate for Prime Minister—the protesters closed off the two entrances of the NA building, and pitched tents near the entrances so that the MPs could not enter the building.

On Wednesday, however, the lawmakers entered the NA building through its service entrance, and convened meetings of parliamentary committees.

The Homeland Salvation Movement demands the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
