Vesnik NKR Telegram channel reports that the second mobile phone operator is already operating in the territory of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic).

Since December 2020, the Russian MTS company’s sister company (MTS-Armenia) has been providing mobile connection in the territory of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic with the same tariffs as in Armenia.

The services are available for the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as citizens of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

MTS’s new stations provide not only 2G and 3G Internet access, but also 4G Internet access.

The 4G Internet access will open virtual borders, increase the living standards in the republic and provide youth with the opportunity to receive the best education through distance learning, work and not emigrate.
