The seismological network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia on Thursday recorded a magnitude-4.3 earthquake in Iran, at 9:46am local time, 14 km northeast of Khoy city, and 10 km beneath the surface.
It measured magnitude 5 to 6 at the epicenter, which 95 km from the state border of Armenia
The seismic activity was also felt in the towns of Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran, Kapan, Goris, and Sisian of Armenia’s Syunik Province—and with magnitude 2 to 3.
