During today’s rally, member of the “Third Power” initiative, President of Tovmasyan Charity Foundation Artak Tovmasyan said the main, if not the sole reason for the initiative is the current state of the country and added that the great defeat of the Armenia people in the 44-day Nagorno-Karabakh war is dictating a new agenda.

Tovmasyan admitted that he had never considering entering politics.

“I have never had plans with any pro-government political party and have never planned to get hired. Unfortunately, due to the undesired circumstances, the members of the initiative and I decided to establish a new political party and go to elections,” Tovmasyan said, adding that his goal is to make the incumbent government resign.
