Representative-at-large of the President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Boris Avagyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Staff of the President of Artsakh will address the National Security Service in regard to news about a British company handing over maps of the minefields of Artsakh over to the Turkish special services.

Today Boris Avagyan reported that while working in Artsakh, the HALO Trust company, which operated under the name of a British charitable organization and was engaged in clearing landmines, obtained maps of the minefields of the Armenian side and handed them over to the Turkish special services, providing the adversary with the opportunity to successfully pass through the minefields during the recent 44-day Artsakh war.

“We received the information today and are preparing to apply to the National Security Service of Artsakh to verify the reliability of the information and prepare a report,” he stated.

Asked if the company continues its work in Artsakh, Avagyan said he is dealing with the issue and has to verify the information.
