In an interview with Tert.am, leader of the opposition Homeland Party, former director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan said his party will be running in the snap parliamentary elections, but didn’t mention the format.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported on his Facebook page that he had had a meeting with leader of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan and that the two had stated that the best way out of the current domestic political situation is to hold snap parliamentary elections. Pashinyan also said he had taken into consideration his meetings with the leaders of the My Step and Bright Armenia parliamentary factions and set June 20 as the date for the elections.
