Lawyers for the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan left the courtroom in protest against the actions of judge Anna Danibekyan.

The next hearing will take place on March 30.

The judge refused to accept the petition for consideration and go directly to the consideration of the case.

Lawyer Karen Mezhlumyan insisted on considering the petition to postpone the session because the Constitutional Court is considering the constitutionality of the article on which the accusation is presented. The lawyer tried to challenge the judge. The court did not address the petition to the prosecutor to recognize the abuse of the right to defense by lawyers, in fact satisfied it, not allowing the defense to submit petitions.

In protest, Robert Kochayan's lawyers left the courtroom.

The judge noted that due to the absence of lawyers, the further session is impossible, but the next one will consider the issue of sanctions against lawyers Aram Vardevanyan, Hayk Alumyan, Hovhannes Khudoyan. The issue of sanctions against the lawyer Mihran Poghosyan, who appealed to the court from the spot, will also be considered.
