During a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am, Artur Hovhannisyan, attorney of ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Onik Gasparyan, said he and his client have received the decision of the Administrative Court by which Judge Liana Hakobyan has returned Onik Gasparyan’s lawsuit against President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Onik Gasparyan’s attorney had filed a lawsuit with the Administrative Court against President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the demand to declare the decree of President of Armenia on dismissing Colonel General Onik Gasparyan from the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces — adopted by virtue of law — as null and void (the decree was approved with the statement by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on dismissing Onik Gasparyan from the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces by virtue of law and dated March 10, 2021).

Hovhannisyan mentioned that he and his client have a couple of more claims, one of which has been accepted for proceedings. Hovhannnisyan added that he will challenge Judge Liana Hakobyan’s decision.
