The opening of a trophy park in Baku dedicated to the celebration of the genocidal military conquest of Nagorno-Karabakh is incredibly disgusting, Claire Evans, Regional Manager for the Middle East of International Christian Concern, noted.

It is one thing to respectfully document the horrors of war to show why such a tragedy should not be repeated, while another thing is to create a trophy park of military victory and in such a humiliating way to expose the losing side, she said.

The position taken by Azerbaijan towards the Armenians is supported and encouraged by Turkey. This is a position of violence and genocide against ethnic Christians. The international community must not remain silent, such actions are the foundation upon which other human rights violations are based, Claire Evans added.
