At the invitation of President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and his wife, Noune Sarkissian will pay an official visit to Georgia on April 15.
As reported the press office of the President of Armenia, during the visit, President Armen Sarkissian will hold personal talks with President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, after which a wide-format meeting will be held. The agenda of bilateral relations and the opportunities for expansion of the mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors will be in focus, and the regional issues and developments will also be touched upon.
President Armen Sarkissian is also scheduled to have meetings with Catholicos-Patriarch Ilya II of Georgia and Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze and will pay a visit to the St. George Church of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
