YEREVAN. – At Thursday's Cabinet session, the government of Armenia made a decision to allocate over 7.5 billion drams from the reserve fund to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to provide funding for April within the framework of the four-month program of assistance to the citizens of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan noted that according to this decision, during March, April, May, and June, 68,000 drams are provided every month to each Artsakh citizen, except for men aged 18 to 63.

According to him, so far the amount of this assistance being provided to the people of Artsakh is about 33 billion drams. "We already have a decision of assistance of another 22 billion drams, one of which is this allocation; that is, the total amount of allocations will make 55 billion drams. With this program, more than 101 thousand residents of Artsakh have received this assistance last month," the minister added.
