The father of a deceased volunteer war veteran declared a sitting strike near the building of the Government of Armenia.

Police tried to raised him, but the man was unwavering and said the following: “I’ll sit here until the Prime Minister meets with me. I’m the father of a hero. Leave me alone.”

The police eventually raised him.

The man told reporters the following: “My son died in this war as a volunteer soldier. After my son left, his wife gave birth to his child, and he never saw the child. I have filed the case with the court for recognition of paternity. Today the court rejected the case. I want to bequeath my child’s belongings to his inheritor. Why are they rejecting? Why are they telling me to apply to courts? Are they doing this just because my son never managed to register his marriage? If this issue isn’t solved today or tomorrow, I will give names of judges. Enough is enough.
