YEREVAN. – Tuesday’s court session on the criminal case of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and former deputy prime minister Armen Gevorgyan has been rescheduled.

According to presiding Judge Anna Danibekyan, she received a report from Gevorgyan's lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan, that his client was receiving inpatient treatment, and therefore could not attend this court hearing.

"Taking into account that the court session cannot be continued in the absence of Armen Gevorgyan, as well as the fact that there is no clear information on the terms of completing the inpatient treatment, the court session is rescheduled," said the judge.

The next court hearing was set for May 11.
