I don’t think declaring credit amnesty will be reasonable. This is what Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan told reporters today.

According to him, there is no need for amnesty at all.

“Studies have shown that 50% of citizens who had credit amnesty las time are in the same situation that they were in before amnesty,” he said and assured that the financial system in Armenia is stable.

As far as the GDP/public debt indicator is concerned, it will be at the threshold exceeding 60%.
