When I talk to people, I find out that their businesses are better than they were one year ago or two years ago. This is what acting Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan said in an interview with RFE/RL Armenian Service.

“I can deduce that industries have grown by 20-30% or even 50% compared with last year,” he stated.

According to him, several sectors have almost completely recovered, people need to book seats at cafes in central Yerevan, various projects are being carried out, and exports have grown by 21%.

“If things continue at this rate, economic growth will be 2-3% higher compared with 2019,” Kerobyan concluded.
