YEREVAN. – The 44-day war in [Nagorno-]Karabakh [(Artsakh)] [last fall] is the biggest problem during my tenure at the head of power. Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Monday’s special sitting of the National Assembly, during the latter’s debates on the matter of electing a new prime minister of Armenia, when asked what he would change if he had returned to 2018.

Pashinyan, however, added that the point of no return with respect to this war was before he came to power. "After the war, I kept coming back to 2018 and trying to rearrange everything. I would not repeat everything with the same accuracy, but, of course, as of April 2018, we have passed the point of return in terms of the Karabakh conflict," said the acting premier.

At the same time, Pashinyan believes that his government has succeeded in achieving the main goal of the revolution: "From now on, the citizen considers himself the master of the country."
