Border issues in the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] region can be resolved despite the complexity. The statement came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a Monday meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, RIA Novosti reported.

"We are grateful for the appreciation of the role of our peacekeepers [in the region]. We will do our best to ensure that, as you pointed out, everything stems from it that that the military aspects be closed. Now, the details ‘on the ground’ need to be dealt with. There are demarcation issues. Not everything is easy, but is solvable, in our conviction. Military experts, with the participation of diplomats, can agree on mutually acceptable solutions," Lavrov said.
