Members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) of Armenia yesterday paid working visits to the seats of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction in Kanaker, Arabkir, Erebuni and Ajapnyak districts and held meeting with judges examining civil cases.

As reported the SJC, the members and judges discussed the current issues, particularly issues on making justice accessible and effective and the reduction of judges’ workload.

The members listened to the judges as they shared their views on and concerns about the current issues and considered the opportunities for increasing salaries, ensuring social guarantees and hiring new judges.

After the meetings, the members of the Council toured the seats and were introduced to the judges and working conditions in the offices.
