Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Foreign Minister David Babayan has expressed condolences over the tragedy in Kazan, Russia.

"It's terrible. Innocent people were killed. Terrorism has no nationality. We know very well what terrorism is, and we have encountered it many times.

We know very well what terrorism is, which is supported and funded at the state level. All kinds of terrorists sent by Azerbaijan and Turkey from all regions of the planet were fighting openly against the Artsakh Republic for 44 days [last fall].

We are deeply saddened by what happened in Kazan," Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A 19-year-old student on Tuesday morning opened fire on an educational institution in Kazan, killing seven eighth-graders and their teacher and wounding many others.
