The National Security Service of Armenia officially informs that the news about battles launched and going on in the territory of Syunik Province that is being spread by the mass media and on social networks is inaccurate.

The statement by the National Security Service also states the following: “Taking into account the concerns sparked among the public after dissemination of the news, the National Security Service of Armenia strictly warns to refrain from disseminating misinformation, causing panic among the population and inciting needless tension and informs that such phenomena will entail legal consequences through the application of the strictest toolkits.

The national security bodies urge to refrain from disseminating unofficial and unverified information and rely only on the official newsfeed.”
