The Spanish police detained two people while trying to sell a rare Roman gold coin. All three coins were found at once, TASS reported.

The found Roman coins are in very good condition and are of great historical value. Their cost on the black market could reach € 200 thousand

The investigation began after law enforcement agencies became aware of the intention of one person to sell a gold coin from the time of the Roman Empire to a numismatist from London. It was soon revealed that it was part of a collection of eight coins that were stolen in 2012 from a train traveling between two Swiss cities.
