The Council of Foreign Ministers of CSTO member states will hold a session on May 19 in Dushanbe. As reported Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will also attend the session.

Zakharova stated that there will be an exchange of views on the prospects for development of the global situation, with assessments of the impact on security of the member states of the CSTO, as well as in regard to the development and strengthening of multilateral cooperation within the scope of the CSTO. Zakharova added that the heads of the delegations will approve decisions that will be presented during the fall session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. It is planned to adopt several joint statements on current issues on the international agenda, as well as on cooperation of the CSTO with interested states and international organizations.
