Armenia’s acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazian discussed regional stability and security issues with US Acting Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker.

As reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Aivazian thoroughly presented the provocative actions of Azerbaijani armed groups in the sovereign territory of Armenia and the situation that these actions have caused. Aivazian also underscored the inadmissibility and unacceptability of Azerbaijan’s provocations against Armenia’s territorial integrity.

The Armenian foreign minister also stated that the international community’s tolerance towards such encroachments on Armenia’s sovereignty is fraught with the threat of destabilization of the region.
