YEREVAN. – At 7:35 pm on Thursday, police received a call from a Yerevan hospital informing that a 23-year-old Yerevan resident with a neck wound had been brought the hospital from a street, the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
It was found out that around 6pm on the same day, a suspect—or suspects—had opened fire on a 23-year-old man on a street, and with an illegal firearm.
A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident.
Bloodstains, fragments of car glass, and a bullet were found at the scene.
A number of people were interviewed.
Forensic examinations have been ordered.
Actions are being taken to find out all the circumstances of this incident and to identify the suspect(s).
