Hady Amr, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs of the US State Department, has arrived in Israel, DW reported.
The US Embassy in Israel said that the purpose of his visit is to strengthen work to restore peace in the region. The official arrived in Tel Aviv ahead of the UN Security Council meeting scheduled for Sunday.
