Following Sunday’s open session of the UN Security Council, China, Norway, and Tunisia have called on the parties to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to immediately cease violence and reduce tension in relations, TASS reported.

China, Norway, and Tunisia call for an immediate end to all acts of violence, provocations, encroachments, collapses, and called on both sides to work towards immediately reducing tension and ending the violence, said Norway's ambassador to the UN Mona Juul, who read the respective statement on behalf of the three countries.

China, Norway, and Tunisia have also called for deepening and accelerating diplomatic efforts to find a solution for the coexistence of the two states, she added.
