Apple has announced an important update to its music streaming service - it will be possible to listen to lossless music in Apple Music, RIA Novosti reported.
The first to receive high-quality sound will be several thousand songs from Apple Music, and later, lossless versions will receive each of the 75 million tracks.
Users will be given the opportunity to choose the playback quality depending on the connection speed. Lossless Audio will be available, ranging from CD quality at 16 bit and 44.1 kHz to maximum Hi-Res quality at 24 bit and 192 kHz. For high-quality audio, you need AirPods and Beats headphones with H1 or W1 chips.
