YEREVAN. – Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: As it is known, RA third President Serzh Sargsyan had announced that he will no longer hold high state positions, as he has completed his service in a high state position before Armenia and the Armenian people. By that logic, he does not top the list of the "I have honor" bloc [in the snap parliamentary elections on June 20]. At the same time, the third president had noted that he will actively participate in political processes, including electoral.

According to Past newspaper’s information, Serzh Sargsyan is already intensively engaged in the work of the election [campaign] headquarters of the bloc. In particular, according to our sources, there is a real commotion these days at the [former ruling] RPA [party] central office, where the party leader receives many people (…).

Moreover, we have information that in addition to office work, Serzh Sargsyan has started paying provincial visits. In particular, according to our reliable information, he was in the provinces last weekend.

Our sources convey that he will be in active visits, as well as consultations and meetings throughout the pre-election period. They say many of them may not be covered.
