The leaders of the 27 EU countries instructed the EU Council to revise the recommendations on the internal borders of the community by mid-June in order to facilitate movement in the union. This is stated in the statement of the second day of the EU summit taking place on Tuesday in Brussels, TASS reported.

As a next step, the summit calls for a review by mid-June of the Council's recommendations on movement within the EU in order to facilitate free movement in the union, it says.

In addition, the summit welcomes the Council's revision of the recommendations on non-essential travel to the EU by non-Community citizens.
