YEREVAN. – Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday received Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who has arrived in Armenia on a working visit, the Prime Minister's Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The interlocutors discussed the steps aimed at resolving the current situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. In this connection, the Iranian FM stressed his country's interest in ensuring stability in the region and in fully preserving and ensuring Armenia's territorial integrity.
Pashinyan and Zarif touched also upon the further development of cooperation between the two countries in several domains.
The acting premier of Armenia and the FM of Iran exchanged views also on the steps being taken to ensure the regional situation’s stability and peace, and the close cooperation between the two countries in this regard.
