At the moment, reporters are not allowed to approach Armenia’s Sardarapat Memorial, where an event on the occasion of the First Republic Day is planned.
Police have closed off the main motorway leading to the memorial.
It became known that the entry of reporters will be banned as long as the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is in Sardarapat.
Only the state-funded Public Television has been given the right to cover the event.
