YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, all the political forces that have applied for the snap parliamentary elections to be held on June 20, and which have already submitted their electoral lists to the CEC [the Central Electoral Commission], are eagerly awaiting the approval of the CEC.

The thing is that the CEC must check the documents of all the candidates within three days and confirm whether they meet the requirements envisioned for an MP.

We have been informed that there are problems with documents in all blocs and they are in a state of unrest.

We were informed that this problem also exists in the case of the "I have the honor" bloc, in which there are persons who have been abroad for a long time and may have problems in connection with the mandatory RA residency requirement.

Let us add that the deadline is May 31, and after that, the CEC will announce the final results of the study.
